Meat pies


Pastry is the same as pumpkin pie just exclude the sugar .
For filling I used
Beef, onions, mushrooms, carrots diced .
Thyme, Celery leaves,Rosemary and sage.
Bottle of Hite Stout. Salt and Pepper.
A little butter and flour (roux) Melt the butter and add the same amount of flour.
Cooked this at medium to low heat for 1-1 1/2 hours.
Filled the pastry with the above stew mixture.
Cooked the pies in the oven at 200c for 30-40 mins
