Stuffed Trout

Baked Potato with sour cream dill and chives

I took the trout and de-boned it (badly )
Trout (My Dad caught ) Stuffed with pinhead oatmeal(steel cut oats), onions, chives, parsley, leeks , bacon and butter . Cook the bacon add onions and leeks . Till softened . Add chives and parsley butter and pinhead oatmeal cook till the oatmeal soaked up all the juices. Wrap in foil and cook at 200 till fish is cooked .


Asparagus is coming into season.

Tuna

For 20 000 won (10 EURO ) You can get all you can eat tuna . They also served the best fish cheeks and some braised tuna with radish.
We also were served Juk (Korean rice porridge) and after more rice in a Korean hot bowl (Dolset). A feast I must say . The tuna was Delicious .





This place is next to on the same street as Tom And Toms .

Mackerel



Mackerel is one of my favorite meals in Korea. I love it when they serve it at school so I tried my hand at cooking it at home. I used some apple vinegar ,garlic, soy sauce, water, brown sugar and chili. I then placed it in a pan with a lid. I put it on a low heat for 15-20 mins. You could garnish with some green onion. In my opinion this is a heavenly dish.

Red Snapper



I went to my usual homeplus and decides the fish looked good a picked a fish. And asked in my best Korean Please CUT. I pointed to the belly . They took it scaled it and gutted it .
When I got in i stuffed it with ginger garlic parsley sprinkled with soy sauce.
I wrapped it in tinfoil and baked in the oven.

Beer Batter Fish And Chips

Cooking night June 23rd



Recipe

1 12 oz can light Beer
2 cups Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Paprika
1teaspoon of baking powder



Dip fish in corn starch . Dip in batter deep fat fry .
Enjoy
